Understanding your child’s feeling (a taster course)

Understanding your child's feelings is a short course which is ideal if your child struggles with their emotions. The course covers lots of topics that will really help you understand how your child is feeling, and gives you strategies to help them calm down.

🙃 How are you feeling today?  Some children and young people really find it hard to name their emotions, both positive and negative. This can have an effect on their behaviour. But do you always know how you are feeling? This course helps you to tune into our own thoughts, feelings and physical sensations that can help you recognise emotions in your child.

👓 Reading Behaviour. All behaviour comes from emotion, reading behaviour is a skill that can help you dig a bit deeper to see what's going on beneath the surface.

👨‍👧‍👦 By the end of this course. You'll have a good idea of why we behave in certain ways, how our feelings affect our behaviour, what to look out for, and how to help children with their big feelings.
