Who can help? It's ok to ask for help.

It's a good idea to talk to someone when you're feeling sad or worried. This could be your parents, a teacher, well-being staff at school or Dr.

By getting help, you can learn how to feel better and happier. So, remember, it's okay to ask for help when you're not feeling great inside.

Open Up Directory

The Open Up Directory, developed by Chilypep in 2018 alongside young people, is a vital resource listing mental health services available to those aged 11-25 across Barnsley and into South Yorkshire. Updated regularly, the directory includes categorised sections that address key areas of mental health support, such as crisis support, LGBTQ+ support, and support for Bullying and abuse. The directory has also been expanded into the Open Up Interactive Map, allowing young people to easily access and connect with this tailored support with pinpointed locations of where the organisations are based. This centralised resource is essential in supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of young people by providing a clear pathway to access the support they need, all in one place.
You can get access to download a copy of the Open Up Directory and find the Interactive Map at www.chilypep.org.uk
