Ramp Up Summer 2025

10am to 12pm - Wombwell Park, S73 0ES

This summer holiday the RampUp team will be back traveling around the borough to bring exciting, free bike and scooter sessions to you. RampUp sessions are a great way to get children and young people inspired to cycle and scoot more, and learn some new skills along the way.
Bikes, scooter and helmets are available to borrow during the sessions. They're always popular and action-packed. Parents need to register their children and this can be done before the program starts. If you've registered for RampUp sessions previously, then no need to register. Just let us know your child’s name when you sign in on the day.

Barnsley Bike Works Summer Sessions

Summer cycling sessions

These sessions are free and include bike checks, fix it sessions, advice on routes in the area and fun challenges, including cycle obstacle courses and fastest tyre changes
