If you’re over 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you could get help with healthy food and milk through the Healthy Start card.

Visit the NHS Healthy Start website to see if you’re eligible and apply. It’s quick and easy to sign up and could make a real difference for you and your family.

If you’re not sure whether you qualify or want help applying, just ask at your local Family Hub, or speak to your Health Visitor or Midwife

You can pick up Healthy Start vitamins at any of our Family Hubs. If you have a Healthy Start card, they’re free.
If you need to buy them, children’s vitamin drops cost £2 and women’s vitamins are £1.
Please be aware that Barnsley Market Family Hub can’t take payments, but all other Family Hubs can.

Rose Vouchers help families buy fresh fruit and vegetables every week and support healthy eating during pregnancy and early childhood.

You may be able to get Rose Vouchers if you are receiving Healthy Start and have a child under 4.

You can sign up at any Family Hub in Barnsley — just bring your Healthy Start card and complete a quick form.
