Using a foodbank

Going to a food bank could help you get the food support you need in times of emergency. If you're facing difficulties affording food, visiting a food bank may be a good short term option. To get help from the food bank you will need to be referred with a voucher. Family Hub managers, and other professionals can write you a food bank voucher referral.

You can ring 0800 0345 340 and press option 2, to be put through to a Family Hub team member.

Once you have been given a voucher, you can swap this for a minimum of three days’ emergency food at your nearest food bank centre.
