Parenting Puzzle

This is a four-week, face-to-face programme for parents and carers of children under 5 to help parents to feel more confident when parenting toddlers and young children


What to Expect:

We cover a range of topics, including:

  • Helping children to become more independent
  • Strengthening parent and child relationships
  • Encouraging children to learn through play
  • Setting age appropriate boundaries

The Nurturing Programme from The Centre for Emotional Health

This is a ten-week, face-to-face programme for parents and carers of children aged 3-10 years to help parents deal with the ups and downs of parenting so that you can have a calmer, happier family life.


What to expect:


Covering a range of topics, including:

  • Understanding why children behave as they do.
  • Recognising the feelings behind the behaviour (ours and theirs)
  • Exploring different approaches to discipline
  • Finding ways to develop cooperation and self-discipline in children.
  • Learning the importance of looking after ourselves

This programme is for adults only.
One place must be booked per adult


Talking Teens

A four-week, face-to-face programme for parents and carers of young people aged 11 years and up to help them navigate the teenage years.



What to expect:



  • We will cover a range of topics, including:
  • Foundations of positive parenting: providing warmth and structure
  • Messages from research: the teenage brain, sleeping habits and more
  • Handling difficult issues: drugs & alcohol, social media, sex, sexuality and staying safe
  • Power, boundaries and problem-solving
