Service Description:IDAS is a charity in Yorkshire supporting anyone experiencing or affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence.
Services include refuge accommodation, community based support, peer mentoring, group work and access to a free, confidential out of hours’ helpline.
Teams of specialist workers support people through the criminal justice system in addition to providing emotional support and safety planning advice.
Support can be offered on a one to one basis or in a group. If you don’t want to meet in person you can also get help over the phone or via email.
The team of people who provide support have specialist knowledge and in-depth training. We also have good links with solicitors, counsellors and other specialist agencies.
Our team support both men and women who are experiencing domestic abuse.
